Good times on a Tuesday night!

Ricks is my favorite Strip Club in NYC. The vibe is really chill and the ladies are usually fun to chill with, even on weeknights. It can get pretty packed even on a random weeknight like a Tuesday night when I went. I had a pretty stressful day at work so I decided to let off some steam at Rick's. I arrived around 8 pm and ended up staying until 1 am. In terms of the vibe that night, there were a good amount of ladies working that night. A mix of latino, white, and black. I especially had fun with this one latino check named Isabell. After several lap dances in the main floor (and a couple of drinks), I decided it was time to hit up the VIP rooms upstairs. Lap dances are $20 a pop.

The VIP room costs about $370 for half an hour or ~$700 for an hour. I ended up spending 2.5 hours in the VIP. The actual rooms have curtains. The one I was in actually had a paper clip on the curtain so it was possible to really close the curtains without then really having any opening. I had a really really good time (even though the next day I realized I might have spent too much money up there but oh well). You can order champagne and other bottles but I opted not to (even though the girls I was with really wanted a bottle of champagne).

Other things of note, there is no stripper pole on the main stage but the ladies generally do a good job of dancing it up to 3 songs and taking their top off during the second song. I actually ended up getting a 100 band form the bartender just so I could through several singles on the stage whenever I wanted it. No one else was doing that but I had a blast being that one guy acting silly. The drinks are about $10 a pop (sometimes more if you decide to grab a shot or two of the Azul tequila in which case it ends up being $50 per shot!).
