Slow start, had some promise

Stopped in mainly for recon. I didn’t walk in with much money and didn’t intend to crack the ATM. Just wanted to see the talent.

The club is actually large and comfortable, plenty of seats and enough space between tables. Be aware that you can go in, get hit up for the cover, and sit there a long time with no one on stage. The music and sound system is pretty good and the lighting around the stage is good, but can be piercing when it changes (LED lights along inside edge of stage). It is better if each song is its own color—your eyes can adjust and it is not so blinding.

This place early on can feel uninterested. The handful of girls flock to the bar and the so do they guys. Odd to see an empty club and 10 people crowded around the small bar. You can feel like you are sitting by yourself for an hour with nothing to see. An encouraging thing is that the private dance area was darker than I’ve seen it. Usually it is just as bright (or brighter!) in there than the big room. And the big room is plenty bright. They keep the lights on bright around the bar. Never tried the high-end VIP, which is near the bar, with its own bird-dog, but it looks like other custies just get a regular lapper (maybe shirtless) for $350. For that money, they need to cook me breakfast.
