It was ok

My first visit to Venue, and it didn’t seem much different than the previous club Mystic.

Exterior of the building was modern and attractive (used to be a Hooters) and the parking lot was fairly large and mostly full. I entered and was patted down by a very polite door staff. It’s a clean club, with a stage in the center, a gambling area, a large bar across one wall, and a room towards the back next to the DJ where the private dances were performed. Btw, there was no cover at 8 pm Tuesday.

It took a while for me to get my Diet Coke ($4) since there were a couple drunk dancers at the bar monopolizing the bartenders time. I was here to see a certain petite dancer, but I sat through a couple other dancers at the stage before her set. I saw only white dancers, none of them overly large. Action at the rack was minimal.
