Lower your expectations and it can be fun

I stayed overnight at one of the many hotels nearby that are within walking distance to the tiger tail so that made it easy enough. I have been here before but it's been a year or longer. I had no illusions about it being a standout place but I lowered my expectations and decided to have some beers because I didn't have to drive so that was nice.

The building and area are in a nice enough area right off the interstate and it seems reasonably safe at least for Rockford which has some rough areas, saw a couple of local leo parked nearby so be careful of that too

Cover is a very reasonable $5 after midnight on a Saturday night. Tiger tail is a bikini club only so absolutely no nudity or even flashing that I saw so know that if that's a requirement for you. This night was busy which is a good sign, full parking lot and many dancers and customers.

As soon as I walked in I saw 2 girls doing their rotations in the bar which has a couple of stripper poles. Basically the girls do a couple of songs on the stage located behind the bar and then proceed to walk for tops on the bar itself which is like a rectangle. It seems to work and gives a good show. I was able to grab a line stool at the bar and it seemed many of the tables nearby were taken. This club is small so it seems crowded with not too many people, thankfully smoking is outside

I had a few large beers in a can, Coors/Pabst which I think we're $5 or $7 each but they were the larger cans. I did notice many people doing shots though along with the bartender and they seemed reasonably priced.
