Might have been more fun if I played pool, though the dancers weren't bad

Outer Limits was about a 15 minute drive from downtown Des Moines. Much of that was on a highway that made it feel further away out of town. The road the club's on is torn up from construction, but there was a road-side sign marking their drive so it wasn't too bad getting in. They had plenty of free parking. Cover was only $5 (about 9:00pm on a Thursday). A bottle of water was $3.

The club is small, with a bar on one wall, a single stage taking up much of the rest of the space, and a scattering of tables and chairs, all in decent shape. There was a back room through a curtain with a pool table squeezed in. A group of guys with their own cues were in there much of the evening. The space felt a bit like an old dinner club/bar that happened to have a stage in it.

There were eight dancer names on the board by the bar, and that seemed about right from what I observed. Two were white, the rest were black. They were average in build and appearance.
