Convenient, but disappointingly low energy and a lack of fun
I choose this KC club because of its convenience. It's a couple of blocks from the bar/restaurant filled Power and Light district downtown, and was easily walkable from my hotel. There was parking available on the street, but I saw few empty spots; I don't know where you'd have to park if you drove. There were very few people there when I arrived on a Wednesday evening, maybe 10:00pm.
The club inside was dark and mid-sized. There was a $20 cover collected at the bar. I wasn't bothered for a drink order, and didn't get anything. The space was a long, narrow rectangle, with the single stage at the far end from the bar.In the middle were rows of padded metal chairs set up like a theater. I can't imagine sitting in them to watch the stage, even if the performances had been engrossing. They looked uncomfortable, and awkwardly close to each other; sort of a weird setup for a strip club. There were more traditional cushioned seats along the walls, with a few small tables set up between them. The side walls had mirrors, which aided the view of the stage.
The stage show was, perhaps, better than expected given how dead the club was. A couple of dancers put in some effort, but the stage was largely forgettable. As another reviewer noted, there wasn't much stripping done on stage either.
