Nice Vibe, but everything costs a lot

Made it to MPIRE on a Tuesday around 6pm and stayed around 11pm. First time since COVID. A couple of 8s and 9s dancing. Met a nice girl who wanted to be a tattoo artist. I bought her a drink - vodka and red bull - $25 (Vodka and Red Bull charged seperately). She said she really enjoyed working at the club but was considering moving. Had some fun chat about the other dancers. Wanted to go up to the private dance, but I believe it's over $400 for 30 minutes which was more than what I was willing to spend that night. Like other DC clubs, the girls have nothing to do in between dances but sit down and hang out. She hung around me for a couple hours but eventually went to go hang out with a guy who seemed to be a regular. Which I suppose was fine for me because I stayed way longer than I intended to. I guess she probably would have been more flirty had i not ruled out a private dance real quick. I think I gave her around $150 for the night plus the drink. I like the club, but it's more expensive than I remember and no table dances and the entry for a private dance is steep. It also has very limited capacity when they're only running one floor and if you aren't drinking or buying drinks you gotta leave. In terms of DC clubs, I would place it behind Cloakroom (though I have not visited post covid) but above Camelot and Archibalds and Good Guys (though GG has its charms at time).
