Good evening in Clearwater

Was staying in Clearwater so decided to check out Oz last Thursday for happy hour at 5pm and stayed til 9:45pm. There was no cover at that time (until 7pm I believe) and parking lot was free, large (shared but has signage for reserved club parking), and well maintained.

Club was medium size, upscale w/ nice décor and furniture. There was a DJ playing and the announcements were very garbled. Club allows smoking so for me not pleasant. A lot of TVs, around 30 all around the club and even 2 in the dance booth area. Large wrap-around bar in the back of club and they are full liquor. 1 bartender and 1 waitress on duty. BudLt pint draft for $3 (reg $5). Happy hour until 8pm and a lot of nightly drink specials throughout the week. There’s a food truck outside the club and they offer free delivery to inside the club. Men’s room is good size w/ 2 stalls, 2 urinals (no divider), and 2 sinks. It was clean and no troll til about 8:30pm.

Place was about half full with 2 dancers working the 2 of 3 poles on the main stage, doing 2 song rotations. There was a small stage w/ pole near the entrance and vip seating section that was not in used though there were customers in the roped off vip seats. There were about 30 customers, mix of old/young and ethnicities. Atmosphere was laid back and I felt very comfortable chilling at the bar. There were about 20 dancers there. About 2/3 latinas and 1/3 white with a couple black girls in the mix. No asians. Night shift mix were essentially the same but had 2 asians in the mix.
