New county regulations screwed this place over

1AM. Saturday. Haven’t been here since summer 2020. Went with a group of coworkers. Including a strip club first timer. Outside, bouncers check IDs, pat you down, and make sure there’s no liquor in your cooler (BYOB club). $25 to get in. Used to be $20 but now you get a “free hot dog” coupon. That sounds more like a god damn $5 hot dog to me!!! (Also: there’s a booze/convenience store built in to the side of the club but don’t bother unless you feel like paying 3x-4x normal prices).

You go upstairs into this tiny little smokey attic of a club. Restrooms to your left. Non-alcoholic bar to your right. There’s a small seating area in front of the bar. This is where dancers do the most hanging out/schmoozing. The stage area is more crowded, loud, and everyone is focused on the 2 dancers on main or the 1 dancer on the small side stage to the right.

Even after adding more seating throughout the years there’s still barely anywhere to sit at Temptations. Especially limited at the main stage. It’s sort of deep and shaped like a small empty kidney shaped pool. The high walls mean you miss all of the floor action if you’re not right there.
