Pompano's little sister club

Unlike Pompano's big three clubs, Gold Club is tucked away in the back of an industrial area. It may feel a little sketchy driving to it, but I’ve never had any issues.

Arrived Thursday evening around 10:00. Cover was $10. You walk into the club and the bathrooms are to the left and the rest of the club is to the right. As you enter there is a long bar on the right, across from a 2 pole stage. Behind the stage are some raised booths. Beyond the bar and stage are around 15 tables with three chairs each. Past that is another stage. After the second stage they have opened up a new second bar. Behind that are the VIP booths. I think my Red Bull was $6 and shots were $12 or $14 depending on the bartender (or it may have been whether they were for me or a dancer).

The music is not too loud so you can have a conversation. Tonight, there were around a dozen dancers and about the same number of customers. With this few customers, the club felt like it may be a little too big, especially compared to the cramped Diamond Dolls. Things are so spread out, if you’re sitting at the second bar the main stage is a long ways away.
