Pasties?!
Parking is at a premium in that stretch of Harry Hines Boulevard, and so the poorly-maintained gravel & mud parking area for Chicas Bonitas costs 10 bucks. A dozen more to the doorkeeper, who now scans identification. You've got to want to go to Chicas Bonitas, and when you look around the place, you wouldn't want to go there for the decor, the atmosphere, nor the amenities. But there's something you might want to go there for, in spite of everything bad about the place... That something is redacted, so as to avoid reviews being downvoted as "too explicit."
Dancers do 2 songs on each of 3 little stages. Some are boring, and some are shockingly interactive for standard stageside tips. Something different this visit: several dancers wore large pasties. I asked one dancer if those were mandatory at Chicas Bonitas now, and she said yes, they're mandatory. Most dancers did not wear them.
Drinks are not very expensive, relative to some strip clubs, and I did not experience a "buy the lady a drink" hustle. Tableside dances do happen occasionally, though I did not get one. I think those may be available for only $10, but they would be tame.
What's definitely NOT tame are the sessions in the ridiculous plywood box called "VIP area." There, $25 per song gets highly-interactive lapdancing, and more may get [redacted--too explicit].
That is the only reason most patrons venture into this ugly building. Regarding looks: most dancers at CB are semi-attractive, and a few are quite pretty. Almost all of them are pleasant, and several of them are quite enthusiastic about [redacted]. Thus, visits to Chicas Bonitas are frequently memorable.
