Decent club but not worth $25 cover and $25 for a beer

There aren’t many gentlemen’s club in Louisville area. Visited PT’s on Friday now just past midnight and stayed there for a couple of hours. It closes at 4 am. The parking was full but there’s ample of parking across the street. There was a bouncer outside and he checked my ID and did some security checking with hand held metal detector. I like that there’s some security checking given so many shootings lately.

To get in, there was a cover charge of $25. A bit pricey but I was like okay. Got in, the place was crowded but with decent people. The bar was to the left of the entrance and there were three small stages with poles on them. I went to the bar and asked for a beer. The bartender said it’s $25. I was like WTF, but ok. $25 for cover and $25 for a beer is absurd. That was a big turn off for me.

The girls were decent, in the range of 3-8, and were of mixed ethnicities. I hopped between three stages and gave away singles to the dancers on the stage. There’s less area to sit near the stages and more reserved area a little further away from the stages.

Overall, the ambiance and experience was good, but definitely not $25 cover and $25 for one beer. I don’t know if this is the norm or they just saw my face with $$$$ written on it. Not gonna go back there.
