These days, the best TC Club…

I’ve been hitting TC clubs- and, many other clubs in numerous other cities, too- for a very long time. I enjoy being able to chill w/ a drink, check out the talent, and, hopefully, spend some time w/ a dancer or two. Full disclosure, for me, the more mileage the better; I suspect I’m not the only one who feels this way.

As such, TC clubs are, clearly, not my favorite, at least when compared to what is available in other cities, e.g. Baltimore, FL cities, etc. And, with the demise of Choice a few years ago, I have not found much to enjoy in TC clubs. Lately, however, I have had some very enjoyable visits to DTC. The club itself is gorgeous, occupying the premises of a historic downtown building- a former bank, I think. I always go in the day- usually around 3:00 p.m.- and have never been charged a cover. There has never been more than a few other customers when I’m there, which is cool w/ me, and I always head straight to bar, grab a beer and sit at a table. I dig the low-lit vibe, enjoy my beer and check out who is working that day. Admittedly, going in the day is very much a hit-or-miss proposition. Sometimes, there are only 1-2 dancers, sometimes more like 4-5. Usually, but not always, there will be at least one dancer who fits the spinner-type profile I dig, and, usually, each of the dancers will make there way to my table. I’ve never felt too much of the hard-sell, and, have enjoyed many dances & VIP time with a few different dancers.

Regarding dancers, dances and mileage- I will always sit and talk with a dancer for a few minutes, try to catch her vibe, ask some slightly probing questions about their dances and what a $275 30-min VIP session might be like. If I like what I hear, I will follow up with a couple $20 floor dances and, if that goes well, head back for a 3 song ($140) or 30-min VIP. I will say I have never been disappointed when I’ve made the choice to head back to the partitioned ($140) or curtained ($275) areas. I will say an earlier reviewer stated the curtains have been removed, which would be a major drag. If it’s true- and, no reason not to believe him, but maybe it’s only at night?- I hope it’s only a temporary thing.

Overall, and especially in the current scene, I would highly recommend DTC. It is a beautiful, clean club, kind of off the main downtown drag, with a lot of hot- and, some not so hot- dancers. If you spend a little time and choose carefully, I think you won’t be disappointed w/ DTC. Note- I usually go planning / hoping to spend around $400. You could spend much less if floor dances are all you want. Also, I have never been to DTC at night, so what I’ve written is only in regard to the day visits I have made. Good Luck out there!!
