Bested my expectations for a Monday night in Fort Fun.

Stopped here on a Monday night after a business dinner and time at a sports bar with a smaller portion of the business dinner crowd. I hadn't been here in many, many years and it was probably about 11pm when I arrived. I wasn't sure what to expect.

Parking lot was easy to get into, lots of parking, it was free, well lit, etc. No complaints there at all. I paid my $5 cover at the door and walked to the bar to the left. AN older woman who looked as though she's seen some stuff was tending and gave me a jack and coke for a reasonable price, I don't recall exactly how much to be honest. Then I took a look around the club which is basically a long room with a stage that runs through the center. There are poles at various points throughout the stage, some go higher than others and, as I later learned, just one actually spins. There are seats lined up around the stage with booths around the outside of the room and some smaller tables in between. Everything seemed clean and in good repair. I was honestly a little bit surprised for how long this place has been open and how terrible the state of Fort Wayne's club scene is.

I sat down at one of the tables between the stage and the booths and almost immediately a tall, thin woman walked up and asked me if I wanted a table dance for $1. After getting some tits rubbed in my face and a great look at her ass, she sat down next to me and introduced herself as Mae. She was attractive and held up a pretty good conversation, I was impressed. We probably chatted for about ah alf hour while various women took the stage, one at a time. Mae informed me that the bartender had managed the place for decades, the current manager was DJing, the girls at this establishment were cool and nice to each other while those at Showgirl 3, a few miles away, are not nice to each other, and that Fort Wayne's laws are just f'ed up. She told me taking off her shoes could get her in trouble for public nudity. I'm not super sure about that tbh, but she was convincing. She told me about the private dances that take place at the other end of the room from the bar. She never asked me if I wanted a private. She did keep saying she wanted to go home and that her home was about 15 minutes away from the club so it dawned on me alter that maybe she was trying to say more than just that she was bored at work. I don't know.
