One of the last great neighborhood clubs
My first review mainly because I feel I've got something to add toward the end to the collection. The clubs been around a long time. It's one of my favorites due to a neighborhood dive feel and the dancers have always been friendly. They've always spoken highly of the place.
The basics: on the Sellwood side of the Sellwood bridge, it's good to know if you're coming from the west there's always afternoon traffic over the bridge. Traffic generally moves pretty well though. There's plenty of parking. The entrance is clearly marked. Once inside the layou is clear: private dance area, some tables. The bar and stage are just across from each other, but a lot of room. Then some gaming machines and the very small men's room.
The bar has a good selection of food and drink. Been a long time since I've had food there but a Jack Daniel's was $6 something for a healthy pour.
The stage is a pretty big square, low rack, easy access for dancers and patrons.
A dancer or two on the way out when I arrived around 5:30-6:00. Two still dancing. I'm not going to guess ages but one was young-ish, tattoos, great figure (for my tastes), HWP you might say. She's very comfortable and friendly on stage. I was there to see the other dancer and didn't think about private dances with this first dancer. Being an older gentleman more or less I'd tend to wait for a younger dancer to express interest in a private dance. I'm not overly interested in the youngest dancers other than on stage while I'm getting a whiske buzz.
