Would be a hoot to see this on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
I had never been to the Penns Port Pub, but driving by the siren's call made it irresistible.
This Pub sits on Columbus Blvd / Delaware Ave along the Delaware River in Philadelphia. Come out of Club Risque, go by Show-N-Tel towards Cheerleaders, and it kind of sneaks up to you in a relatively nondescript white building. I parked out front on the street.
Whether you love or hate this place will depend upon how you feel about Tarentino-esque dive bars. It's a dive bar in the classic sense (although, they do have a few craft beers on hand). One big rectangular bar with a single pole coming out of a plywood "stage". Some booths on one side. A room with a pool table in the back. More reasonable restrooms than I was expecting.
