Reasonable option for late night entertainment

The Kalamazoo Deja Vu is located on the north west side of town in a light industrial area at a well traveled intersection (Douglas Rd and Ravine Rd). The building is a 2-3 story building with somewhat limited parking in front of the building and overflow parking just west of the building. This building is somewhat unique in that it houses two clubs, a non-alcohol nude strip club (Deja Vu) and a topless bar (Lil Darlings) that serves alcohol on the other side of the building. The area is reasonably safe although there have been a few reports of rowdy behavior in the parking lot and some wacko intentionally crashed his pick up truck into the building within the past year. That damage has been repaired.

Entrance fees were $15 and that gets you admission to both the nude and the topless side of the building. Patrons are subject to a pat down as they enter the club. Some people rotate back and forth between Deja Vu (for the nude dances) and Lil Darlings for the alcohol. It is only a dozen steps between the entrances for the two clubs.

The posted hours for the Deja Vu are 8PM to 4AM on most days with closing at 6AM on Friday and Saturday. I arrived at 9PM and the dancers were just showing up and preparing to go on stage. Said another way, this club is pretty dead for the first hour or two of operation but it picks up, in terms of the number of dancers and the number of patrons later in the night. I have never been here after midnight but their posted hours suggests that this might function as a late night, after hours club.
