The pot ain't boiling over, but at least the lid was shaking

Visit to LaPearl/Outerspace. I'll write this up for La Pearl because I went on Sunday and while I was there (until 7) most of the dancing was downstairs at LaPearl, and upstairs at Outerspace was just a few people grouped around the bar.

As the mods require a physical description even of a place that hasn't changed in recorded history, here goes: LaPearl is the downstairs bar.

Neighborhood is West Philly, and UPenn West Philly. I drove by several different Philly cop cars with sets of officers conducting arrests. LaPearl/Outerspace has seen its share of shootings -- robbery of staff bringing money out, dancer shot outside in a driveby during a vigil for another dancer, neighborhood dispute outside. Unlike some other Philly AA clubs, at least here the shootings have been outside. You can park within site of the club, usually.
