Pleasant way to spend a Saturday night!

Happened to be in St. John’s for the weekend and decided to visit both Cotton Club and Sirens. Cotton Club is on the second floor above a sports bar which is open during the day. The club opened in the evening when enough girls arrived. Bartender downstairs was very friendly and sold me a wristband for $8.50 on Saturday ($7.50 on Sunday) to go upstairs when the club opened. A generally younger crowd was in the sports bar with a good mix of male and female. Most eventually ventured upstairs. Decent club pretty clean and felt very safe. The club features a shower that dancers can take guests into.

People were very friendly. Dancers happy to sit and chat. A good mix of girls many were visiting from different parts of Canada. It was hot and humid with no air conditioning so that was a good topic for discussion.

Drinks were $7 to $10 and dances were $20/song upstairs or you could go behind the stage to private rooms for $100 per 15 minutes or $400/hour. Even though it was a Saturday night on George Street, it was maybe half busy and it seemed to be in spurts. Sometimes there were several in the club, others, it wasn’t very busy. Sunday was much less busy than Saturday but it was easier to get the girls of your choice.
