Just A Ghost Club
Went here twice during a 3 day period, once when I dropped by 3 hours before my flight out of Burbank and one more time after my flight landed going home 2 days later. Both during a day shift and needless to say this place has severely gone downhill since the pandemic. I would’ve had a better time perusing through magazines in the airport terminal. For some reason, this club was just dead both times I went. Arrived to a near empty parking lot, around 5:00 pm in the afternoon and per the guy at the door, the evening girls don’t arrive until 8 pm so it had nothing to do with a shift change. This place must be hurting because both times the door guy was also doubling as the bartender - so either they are cutting personnel expenses or they are having a hard time hiring people. Not sure, but it was pretty sad.
Here’s where it got even more depressing, the few girls that were working (3 total) were onstage practicing their “moves” as there was absolutely nobody in the club (on both occasions). One was a heavy set Latin woman , early - mid 30s with red hair -, a decent looking Puerto Rican girl with an ok but bot not stunning build - early mid 20s , and a skinny black girl with short hair and nice smile. None of them were lookers perse but friendly enough to warrant tips on stage. They were each fairly aggressive in trying to encourage me to buy dances after their stage sets but the attraction just was not there on my end. I did tip north of 120 bucks total because I felt bad but didn’t buy any dances. Not sure how Rhino is keeping this club open. Maybe the days I went were complete aberrations but I seriously doubt I come back anytime soon. Maybe next summer.
