I Have Had Better Times At This Club In The Past

I was down in the Salem area and decided to hit a couple of taco shop stops since it has been quite a while since I had visited that action. Well, I had planned on stopping at three strip clubs, Stars, Firehouse and Last Chance Saloon, but didn’t make the third since I came across a nice surprise at Firehouse Cabaret. Here is Stars review with Firehouse to follow shortly.

Stars Cabaret has three locations, Portland, Bend and Salem and this was a Salem visit on this last Wednesday afternoon. All three have a “gentlemen’s club vibe” rather than a dive neighborhood strip club. Salem’s club is located right off an I-5 exit with plenty of parking and opens at 11 AM. This is a fairly large club with a decent enclosed patio with umbrella coverings. On this afternoon at 1:00 PM, I walked in with no cover, no bouncer, and no ID check. They keep the lights pretty low and it takes a few minutes to get adjusted Restrooms are immediately to the left and better than average for a strip club, which isn’t saying much. The full bar is straight ahead with plenty of seating and lotto machines in this area. There are three large stages in this club with lots of tables/chairs scattered about. There is a large communal lap dance room with couches, which translates in to no privacy if there are other patrons enjoying up-close attention with a dancer (all three Stars locations have this, IMO, flawed setup). Hard to get any extra action with that is a goal.

There had to be at least a dozen patrons with eight or more dancers in the club with just the front stage being used while I was there. In most of the clubs I frequent, it would have been crowded, but since this club is so large, it seemed empty. My coke was 5 bucks and I headed to the rack (stage). Patrons were coming and going to the stage depending on the dancer, but I just hung out at the rack with hopes of finding a fun backroom dancer. There was a dj playing tunes and announcing dancers. On this day, the owner was there and I will get to that shortly. All the ladies were white except one AA and all were spinners or close to that, except one fairly heavy dancer. All seemed fairly young to me and 7 or better in looks/body, except one. They were doing two song sets and I tipped $2/song. All got topless except one and only one took their bottoms off. I thought maybe it was my cheap $2, but a guy sat down and threw out a $20 and it still didn’t motivate her to remove those bottoms. Most dancers sat on the rack in front of me and played a little peek-a-boo by pulling their bottoms to the side. Most also stood on the rack, legs spread, and grabbed the rail at the top of the stage. I needed a good neck massage afterwards since I was looking almost straight up.
