Don't trust the dancer-schedule

Decided to visit the club last Friday, getting to the club at 8:30pm and stayed until around 11:30pm. Having been a regular pre-covid, I had stopped going during the covid restriction period since the place was dead most of the time and many of my faves were no longer dancing there. Wanted to see if it has gone back to being busy now that I saw they have 8 doubles (2 dancers on stage at the same time) listed on the schedule on their website. They usually have 15 singles listed, each dancer on stage for 4 minutes (rotating through 2 stages) in an hour period. There were a few of my faves listed so I wanted to see them too. Unfortunately the schedule listed was completely undependable (it used to be very dependable so you would know if the dancers you like would be there that night or not). 2 of the 4 faves were not there, and there were a lot of dancers there that were not on the schedule. Some dancers are there mainly to sell private dances and don’t even go on stage unless they are asked to sub for a scheduled dancer who was busy doing privates. They ended up having only 4 doubles and one of those was actually a triple (3 dancers sharing the 2 spots in a double, switching around who’s up each hour) but I do believe there were 23 dancers there as advertised, just not the same dancers listed. It was disappointing because now you don’t get to see the dancer you like on stage as much as before (I saw one of my fave only once on stage during my 3 hours there).

All this scheduling mess is probably due to the popularity of the private dances. Prices for the privates now are $30/5 minutes starting at $60/10min and move up in 5min increments. Discounts start if you get 30 minutes or more with prices at $165/30min, $220/40min, $255/45min, $300/60min. It seemed most customers were buying at least 30 min, as the wait for the 3 private rooms were at least an hour the entire time I was there, and the wait for the better looking/more popular dancers were a lot longer. The place was busy customer-wise but was never crowded, which was the atmosphere level that I like.

Quality of the dancers were not as good as pre-covid. Most were white, with a couple Latinas, a couple Asians, and no black dancers. I only saw 3 russian dancers (usually the best looking girls in this club) whereas before there were around 5-6 per night. About half the girls were overweight, but there were 8 small petite dancers that were my preference (including my 2 old faves).

Drink/food prices are a little higher than pre-covid, which is expected (16oz domestic draft now $7.50, $4 during happy hour 4-6:30pm) but still reasonable for the area.

Based on this experience I’ll be back as a regular, unless covid resurges.
