I stopped into the Desert Flame on a recent Friday afternoon.

Don’t blink or you’ll miss it while driving down Apache Trail as it’s a very nondescript building. Parking appears to be wherever you want as I didn’t notice any outlined spots. There weren’t many cars out front either though so that made it easy. Anyways, I arrived around 4pm, there was no cover charge, no ID scan and no bouncer to be seen either. I did notice a sign at the door saying “2 Drink Minimum”, but I highly doubt that it’s enforced.

The bar is straight ahead as you walk in and runs to the left, the main stage and seating area is to the right. There were a couple people at the bar and 1 guy by the stage. The bartender also served as the waitress, but she didn’t seem to make her way around much so best to go to the bar to get a drink. A bottle of beer was a reasonable $4 at that time of day, I’m not sure if that was a daytime only price or not.
