Good late night at the hippo.

Due to the recent negative reviews of Little Darlings I decided to try out the hippo instead. Did a little research and found out the dance prices might be less inflationary than little D so figured what the hell. We got the club to pick us up. Tipped the driver a 20 and he comped our door fee and we got 2 drink coupons. Our table was somewhat removed from the stage but had a decent view. Stage show is nothing special. You can find a lot better stage work at Little D, Palomino and Saphires. Still it was entertaining and we went over and tossed the girls some ones. No special extra for tipping at the stage. We got there around midnight (Thursday) and left around 3:45. It's a 24/7 club and things were kinda steady (not slow but not hopping) until about 1ish and then it got pretty busy.

I asked one of the hosts what the lap dance price was and he told me 20 to 25. Most girls asked for 30 to 40 but when I told them I was paying 20 per song but would do 2 songs almost all said yes. Overall I got LD from about 7 or 8 girls. Milage varied greatly by the girl. From Mai Ling who asked me to keep my hands on my knees to Mocha who gave a nice grind and high millage floor dance. I did a VIP with Mocha for 30 mins. She quoted me 300 plus drinks but the VIP check in host told me to give her 200 so I did. ViP drinks are 2 mandatory drinks for 30 min dance at 25$ a pop. The VIP room did not offer a ton of privacy but you could go to other private rooms for more $$$. The VIP dance was great milage and I left her a nice tip.

Cocktail prices are about 16$ beer about 12. Girls were mostly 7s and high 8s. No 9s or 10s. Mix of Caucasian (USA) Cubans asians and African American. No Euro girls. Very few spinner body types which I thought was odd. If you like curvy girls there are a lot to choose from. Its a newish reopened club and a lot of the girls there used to dance at the Rhino and Crazy horse (according to them). Hustle factor was above avg but not uncomfortable. Lots of offer to take the "tour" but that's always just a giant upsell for VIP and who needs that.
