A So So Time

Monday about 5:30 I stopped by Columbus Gold. There were 4 dancers and 3 customers. I had a beer and 2 dances and went to Vanity (just next door), to see if there was more action.

I got to Vanity at about 6:30 with nobody at the door so there was no cover charge. When you walk in the oblong bar is to your right and the club is to your left. It is a very nice classy club but there was nobody in the stage area so I sat at the bar and order a beer, ($5). From what I could see it is a raised stage against the north wall with tables out in front of the stage.

There were only 2 dancers, both at the bar, one that was glued to a regular and the other was little heavy gal with green hair who came over and sat beside me. We talked a bit and she said I know you just got here but my shift is over, would you like a dance before I go? I said how much? She said $40 and a long pause… and then said I could do 2 for $40, so I said sure let’s do it. I went to the restroom first and when I came back she led be to the private dance area. We walked through a big room with padded benches around the outside edge. On the other side were private rooms with wood doors that closed. Wow, what privacy, expect the camera watch you. Her dances were good but not great. We finished and I went back to the bar.

3 more dancers had come in to the bar in the meantime. One who was cute and came over and sat beside me. She said I looked familiar. I asked her how much for a dance and she said $40. I said I just had a 2 for $40 would you do that? She said “No” and I said thanks anyway. So she left to go talk to some other dancers. I cut my losses and left. Physically it is a really nice club but it seems during the day it is hard to find much happing in Columbus. I’ll go back just not real soon
