Huge club, fun vibe, but overpriced

I visited Tootsie's on Saturday around 11pm. The club is easy to get to from I-95, and the parking lot was huge, with plenty of open spaces even on a busy weekend night. Parking is free, although there is a valet option that I didn't ask about. There is plenty of security, including several guys in golf carts patrolling the lot, so it seemed very safe.

After a pat down at the entrance, I paid the $20 cover (which is less, I believe, on weekdays) and entered. The club was relatively packed. There must have been a couple hundred patrons in total, but due to the large size of the club, one could move around relatively freely.

The crowd skewed a bit younger and more urban, but not ghetto - lots of stylish black and hispanic guys in some cases with their very attractive girlfriends. Relative to most other gentleman's clubs I've been to, there was more of a "party" vibe here, with mixed groups ordering bottles and hookahs. That said, there were also unaccompanied patrons occupying spots at the bar and standing along the periphery of the club, so you wouldn't feel too out of place arriving solo.
