One Night in Portland, Part I

Every time I visit the Rose City, I hit the clubs with an old friend who lives there. This year was no different. We had dinner with our respective wives, both of whom know what we’re up to, and then headed out to Acropolis, and oldie but goodie.

Well, only so goodie. Despite it being midnight on a Friday night, the Acrop was pretty dead. It’s a lively enough layout, though. There are three stages, one to your left as you come in, another one on the right, and a third on the second level down, which is attached to the bar. All three stages had dancers, and the second stage, which seemed to be functioning as the mainstage that night, had the most interesting one. I didn’t catch her name, but she had all kinds of great energy, great smile, great tattoos, and zero clothing. Only downside to her was that you could tell that she would talk her way through a lapdance, which can be fun, but isn’t always what you’re in the mood for. She was great with everyone, and gave a lot of attention to the women who were seated at the rail.
