Quiet Noon Visit

Stopped in about noon about 4 weeks ago, (yea I know late report) as I was in the area and had time to kill. I had not been in this general area since pre pandemic and while I have read about the remodel I wanted to see for my self. Last time I visited this location was the old dirty bookstore, and broken down inside area with with old disgusting tables and chairs.

No parking in front, which is no surprise since it is on the a busy street, and multiple businesses in the area. I had read that some had parked in the paint store parking lot, and that was the only option. So I parked at the end of the paint store parking lot by the alley, figured they would not be too upset if I did not take one of their customers prime spots. Walked in down a short hallway, and boy was it dark! could not see shit, nor my hand in front of my face! At the end of the hallway there was a rope that I saw when I opened the door to go in. A bouncer came up to the rope and told me the bartender would get my drink and change to come in and sit down (yea right, couldn't see where to go, but did notice some light towards the back of the room. I asked him about parking in the paint store lot, he said no problem, just park towards the back where I did.

I also asked him where the bathroom was and told me to go towards the light, as I stumbled I noticed two gals sitting on a bench on the wall. When I got out of the bathroom my eyes had adjusted enough to navigate to a table not far from the stage. From what I could see the place was clean and plush, big improvement and appears someone put some $$$ into the old dump. Sitting down my drink and change appeared, and the music started and a gal went on stage, did a dance, do not remember her name decent body, and a pleasant face, but lots of tats, which I find as a turn off. After her dance she stopped by and introduced herself, I tipped her a couple of dollars and off she went. A second dancer appeared did her thing, again, decent looking except the all the tats, same routine, stopped by said hi, tipped her a couple of $$ and left. One or two songs played then they both came by and sat on each side of me and said they were the only ones working, was I interested in one or both of them for some fun. Sorry girls, just did not feel the vibe. Said my goodbyes, and left. No other monger in the place over the 30 minutes I was there. Hope to get a chance to check this place out later in the day, looks to have some good potential.
