sinclair's Review
I hit up Angels Gentlemen’s Club on a Friday at 18:10. The property is in the middle of a wooded area along the Kalamazoo River. The club starts charging a $5 cover charge at 18:00, but the door girl and bouncer were late, so I managed to get in without paying. The interior has more booth seating than table seating, making it look like this building might have been a restaurant in another life. There is a long runway stage in the middle of the room with a pole on each end. The bar is along the left side of the back wall. Sincweisers were $6. A glass of Coca-Cola was $3. Jager Bombs were $10, but strong and generous. The ATM allows withdrawals up to $800 per transaction. A 5% fee is charged on each transaction, with a minimum fee of $9.
About a dozen entertainers were on hand when I arrived. Dancers were mostly Caucasian and in their twenties. There were a couple African-American dancers, but they were not in my desired weight class. After 19:00, the DJ called Sinclair to the stage, and I almost thought I was going to have to get on the pole and strut cock. However, there was a dancer named Sinclair working. Unfortunately, her looks were not worthy of the moniker. She told me she was familiar with the website TUSCL. Hmmm. Dayshift dancers leave by 19:00 and nightshift dancers come in between 18:00 and 19:00. For about an hour there is a slight overlap of dayshift and nightshift dancers. Some dancers will work the room offering dollar dances, while other dancers feel they are above this.
