Weekend at Wax

I was in Atlanta over the weekend and since I enjoyed my first visit to wax back in late December, I decided to check it out again. I visited twice, first time Friday night and again on Sunday afternoon. I arrived at around 11:30 on Friday night and was given the option to park in front of the club for $40 or in back of the club for $20 (I choose this option). I was given a pretty thorough pat down before paying the $20 cover and entering the club.

The layout of the club hadn’t changed since my first visit, everything is all one level and pretty spacious. There is a long main bar with stools to sit at that you see when you enter. There are a few stages in the middle of the floor with tables and low chairs set up near the stages. There are a few high tables and chairs in the corners as well as a smaller second bar near the men’s restroom. And a couple pool tables in the middle of the room.

I went to the main bar and ordered a Dusse ($13). There weren’t any seats available at the main bar and most of the tables out on the floor were occupied so I went to the smaller second bar near the men’s restroom where I was able to grab a seat along the side of the bar. There were plenty of dancers (20-30) out on the floor making the rounds. The majority of the dancers were Black with a couple Latinas mixed in. I would say most of the dancers were on the thinner side although I did see a few with the thicker build that I tend to enjoy. The pool tables were being used most of the time and girls rotated on and off the stages. There were a lot of customers hanging out. Some making it rain at the main bar and on stage. The first dancer to approach me was one of the thicker dancers and she started things off by bending over and moving her thong to the side to give me a nice view of the kitty. She then grinded away for about 5 songs. I paid her $30 and she moved along.
