Go at night or just don't even go

Atlanta, GA. Famous Magic City. It's in South downtown. I thought I would at least check it out once. I had drove by the previous night, monday night and it was a line way the fuck out the door. I said fuck that I'm doing that shit. So I came back earlier the next day. I would be advised this is not the greatest area of Atlanta, especially at night.

I came around 6pm. The parking lot was pretty full, so I thought hey why not. (I would find out later those cars must've been parked there for other stuff) There's machines talking about paying for parking but I just ignored them at this time and took a chance. I walk in, tried the right door, nope the left door. A guy comes out, pat down, id check and he says no cover because it's a little slow right now. I go in. He wasn't lying. There was one stripper laying down on her phone and another just hanging at the bar. both heavyset black girls. And a couple black customers just at the bar. That was it. I thought maybe something would be going on in the daytime. No stage, no dancing, no nothing. You really got to come late and deal with bullshit. I was gonna eat here because I did hear the food was good, but there was just nothing look at this time. I got a corona which was $6.

The club physically I'd imagined it be bigger but it's just a square really, the bar is on the left, bathrooms on immediate left when you come in. And a big stage in the middle with some seating around it. It's not that big. I mean it was cool just to see once it's like a cultural center for Southern rap, although I'm not a fan of that style of rap at all except maybe for some old school 90's stuff like TLC and Outkast but ultimately old school New York rap is where's it at. I don't get all this other bullshit rap anyway. So I'll probably never come back here. I'm sure the girls at night are some of the hottest black girls in America, I don't doubt that. And I know it's all lame air dance crap, make it rain nonsense going on, that is true too. So I probably won't come back here and this is just one long PSA to say don't come early, it's a waste of time. I was able to take shit in the bathroom to at least get my money's worth. So I could tell my grandkids while I didn't make it rain in Magic City, I did take a crap in the bathroom. I always at least be able to say that.
