It's in the middle of rural Iowa flaunting local sensibilities, I'll work with it
Stopped on a Friday night breaking up a long road trip. I had been curious for like 10 years after passing by on Hwy 61 and seeing a trailer advertising a strip club. It's my understanding that there was some back and forth over the years about legalities and such. Anyhow, their Facebook page had a posting from the night before, so I figured I would take the 3 mile drive off my route and at least see some boobs. On that note, I was not disappointed! It is advertised as BYOB so I stopped on the way and picked up a small bottle of Jim Beam.
When I got there just after dark the whole place was lit up and it looked like the kind of rough and tumble roadhouse I would enjoy. But I really didn't know what exactly to expect.
The first thing I saw was a sign that said " no bottles, no hard liquor". In my youth BYOB meant "Bring Your Own Bottle (of hard liquor)." Apparently now BYOB means bring your own beer or hard cider in cans or your soft drink of choice in a plastic bottle!
