I have gotten the Venmo accounts of dancers I like and sent them small cash gifts between visits. They appreciate the gesture and and provide a lot of attention when I do visit the club. If you are an appreciative customer that understands they are there to earn money selling you a fantasy, you will be better off. Remember a dancer is your fantasy, not the other way around. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be a customer the appreciate working for.
I agree with you iknowbetter. I think my take is trying to say, “at their best strip clubs can and do offer a societal good, If like other countries, we could get over the regulation of private sexual relations between consenting adults.” I actually have never asked for or been offered extras at a club and that isn’t what I want. I want to enjoy the view, the company and the fantasy. It is pure escapism, just like a movie or a vacation. Let’s bring all the work the ladies do out of the shadows and make it legal. This will help remove a lot of the exploitation and abuse.
Very much agreed. If we had all of the rail seats filled like when I was a bit younger, you would see the dancers do more on the stage. I first went to a strip club in the 1990s. They were always packed on the weekends and pretty full on Thursdays or holidays. So in a three song dance with 25 seats filled at the rail, a dancer could make $75 easily. Nowadays, there are only a few guys in the clubs at a time and only a couple at the rail.
