I Got My $40 Worth.

Overall, nothing really exciting to write about on this review unless you want to know the club layout/prices a little more.

I spent this last Saturday afternoon visiting two clubs on the SE side of town. My first stop was at Club 205 around 1PM. There are a few spots on the main street to park, which were taken, so I headed in to their small, cramped, parking lot when full, like today. This club can hold more patrons than the parking lot allows and can be deceiving as really busy. On this day/time, the club was about half full of mongers/dancers. This is a typical SE rectangle dive bar with not much to look at on the outside. They have a decent grill if you go there hungry. A full bar and I have read the drink prices are reasonable. I decided many years ago not to drink at the clubs so my judgement isn’t clouded with the dancers. Coke prices are $3.25. As others have commented, you have to walk around to the front busy street part of the building to enter, which is a pain.

The sun was out when I walked in and with the club being so dark, had to stand there for a few minutes to adjust to the low lighting. At this time of day, no bouncer, no cover, and no ID check. The bar is straight ahead with maybe eight or so bar stools. To the right are a few low and high table with chairs, three video machines along the back, and a labeled “Private Dance” enclosed area. To the left, more low and high tables with chairs, a main hexagon shaped stage with a 2ft+ width rack, another similar 2nd style stage, plus a 3rd smaller stage against the back wall. Also in this area, three more video machines against the back wall, a dj booth (there was a dj on this day), several black curtained lap dance booths, dancer changing room and the bathrooms are behind the bar which you enter on this side. A comment about the dj, why hire guys that have marbles in their mouth, as I still had to ask each dancer their name.
