Afternoon visit improved in most ways over the evening

After my last review of an evening visit to Club Platinum back in November, several users commented that it was much better in the afternoon. So on my recent return to Atlanta I decided to give it another try. After a brief stop at Tattletales, I walked over to Club Platinum, arriving around 5:30. Their tiny parking lot was mostly full and required a valet; I didn't note what they were charging. Cover charge was $10 (compared to the $20 I paid after 9pm before).

The layout remained the same. There was a room to the right with a small bar, a double-sided bench, and some chairs. Immediately on entering there was a small bar with an elevated (and unused) stage opposite. Then past that to the left was a couple of stairs and then a larger space with a small stage, tables, and some couches on the walls.

The atmosphere was more pleasant than my previous visit. The club felt less dirty (maybe they cleaned before opening and it hadn't gotten as dirty again yet?). It was definitely less smokey, with few if any hookahs running. It was not quite as loud, and not quite as busy.
