The Hole that could be better filled with many other things

Went to Porthole with a friend for the first time in years last Saturday night around 10pm, and I'm glad to say it will be the last time for many more to come. This place simply is not worth anything at night, and I kind of knew that going in reading past reviews here but was hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Parking is crazy, but we got lucky. It is located in a plaza shared by multiple Latin business that are also open and partying, and we just found a spot as someone pulled out from the front of a Brazilian restaurant that looked more interesting than the club. Went to the club entrance for their customary pat down for weapons and into the hole I went. $15 cover to see lots of shitty weaves and fake eye lashes.

The club was very full. From the entrance to the immediate left is a small wall blocking some of the view of the stage, and behind that is their main bar. Just behind the counter at the main entrance is the dj booth in the corner of the club. Going in, the main stage is to the left of the bar and beyond that towards the back are their private booths and restrooms. Seating at the bar wasn't happening, but there was some seating around the bar. There may have been seating around the booths, but it was dark and full of people moving around so couldn't tell.
