Back to paradise (part 1)

It been 3 years since I’ve been to hong kong. This review will cover a Saturday evening to tuesday early morning checkout. Because of length I will split my review into 2 separate posts with the first being about general stuff and the second focused on the girls, including mention of experiences from Chicago club, which will also get its own review but I feel compelled to mention some of those experiences here. Also the second review will be more explicit so for those who don’t want that type of detail they can stick with this review and avoid the second. So please don’t read the 2nd review and then complain it was too explicit. Also some of the logistics details I have mentioned in previous reviews but seeing they were so long ago I’ll write this as a fresh review.

The journey: arrived in San Diego Saturday morning from a Vegas layover. I was intending to try the free shuttle to the car rental centre then the trolley but as I stepped out I say the 992 bus so I just hopped on it. 2.50 fare and I told the driver I wanted to come off by the trolley station to san ysirdo. It was about a 5-10 minute ride. The station is across the road from the bus stop. Note for anyone from warmer climates is the entire time it was cold including in Mexico so a good jacket is essential. The trolley to san ysirdo comes along every 15 minutes I think and it was always spot on onetime. The ticket is purchased before getting on and it was also 2.50. The journey to san ysirdo is about 45 minutes which I basically slept out. On reaching san ysirdo I did some shopping so I didn’t head over until about 5pm. Something interesting to note is there wasn’t a wallgreens or CVS in walking distance so I had to get supplies at an adult store that is close to the jack in the box. I always walk with lube and my own condoms. I wanted to get the flavored durex but unfortunately they didn’t have any. At least 2 of the girls complained about the taste of trojans I bought which didn’t happen before with the flavored durex which is something to keep in mind. I went through the old crossing that is behind the jack in the box. I basically walked right through. The visitor line was empty and the guy asked where I was going and I said I’m going to meet up with friends in zone Norte. He glanced at my passport, which is a non-american passport, and just waved me through, no stamp or additional questions. He barely looked at me. This is different to 3 years ago where my passport was stamped, which I didn’t like. Once across I saw the limo to HK as I walked. I had to walk all the way down to crossing and back up around the fence to get to it. I made a quick stop at a pharmacy that’s close to the crossing. of note they sell the generic of viagra and Cialis very cheap. Actually bought extra. I think for the viagra 10 pills of 100mg was like 20 dollars or less. 2 other guys were heading to HK in the limo. Was about a 15 minute drive because of traffic and tipped the driver 5 dollars.

Logistics: I had requested a room for the 3 nights. A deluxe double and I asked for one on the 6 or 7th floor. I prefer the deluxe because its more spacing and one bed is for action and the other rest. I asked for those floors because you can’t hear the club from that high up so no issues with a quite sleep. Also the rooms on those floors look nicer than in the pictures on the website because I think they were renovated a few years ago. Once you come to the lobby they search you and your bags fairly thoroughly. In fact every time you enter the hotel and the club you get searched and go through the lie detector. A bit more on that later. They take your name and put you to sit in a waiting area while they deal with those that came before. Like the security screening the check-in process is more thorough. Previously I used a fake name and they only took cash. Now you need a valid ID and they allow you to use a card to book the room. One of the girls mentioned that there were 2 girls murdered in the rooms about a week apart both found tied up and stangled. She says its suspected it was done by the same person and they think it was someone from the US who posed as a regular patron. I presume the changes are related to this because before with fake names it would be difficult to track someone. The constant security checks can be a bit annoying but I fully support it. The total cost of my stay was 300 but the vip card cut it down to 250 which includes the cost of the card it self so it was almost 100 off the room stay. It would be even more pronounced if it was a weekdays only stay. They take a cash 30 dollar security deposit which is returned on checkout after they check the room and mini bar. I found the room to be nice and clean as before, felt modern and upscale in my opinion. One drawback from the previous time is there was no bluetooth speaker and I didn’t bring mine. Another side note is a couple other 6th floor rooms on the lower level were completely gutted so they are still doing renovations.
