1st time at Desire

I met a girl at Casa, and she told me she works at Desire as well. I decided to check out Desire on one of the days she was working. It located in NE Portland along Columbia Blvd, not a great area to be walking around at night. The strip club “Columbia Strip” is about a mile away. At night it’s hard to miss the club, the club has a lighted up sign that says Desire, so I knew I was in the right place. As I was entering the club, I noticed an off duty dancer outside arguing with one of the bouncers, the girl didn’t look at good at all, I was hoping this wouldn’t be a sign of things to come. The bouncer saw me and led me inside.

I arrived at around 9pm on a Friday night. I was surprised to hear the cover was $10 bucks this early, but whatever. The bouncer did a full body pat down with a wand. When you walk in, there is a bar, and about 5 or 6 lottery machines. All the lottery machines were occupied by a customer and I didn’t see any dancers, so it wasn’t looking good. Some of the clientele was a little sketchy, a couple of them looked like they were drug dealers. I ordered my Corona and then I realized the stages was on the other side of the club. There were 2 stages, only 1 was in action on that night. A few of the girls used the 2nd stage to hang out on and practice moves. The seats at the stage were very low, there didn’t seem to be a lot of contact on stage. Music was mostly hip hop. I noticed there was a outdoor patio, and there was a stage in the patio, I wonder when they use that, but I didn’t ask anyone about that.

There were maybe 8 to 10 dancers on shift on this night. Girls were average for the most part. Mostly 6’s with one 7. It was made up of white girls, a few black girls and one Latina. There were skinny for the most part with one or two being on the thicker side. All the girls looked to be in their 20’s.
