A fun afternoon.
Cab II was one of my favorite clubs before the pandemic, probably because it has yet to install cameras in the lap dance booths. It reminds me of days gone by when dancers were a little freer to earn some extra cash. Well it still goes on at most clubs today, they just have to be a little more creative. I recently had an experience at another club in the booth where I was made an offer for fun and accepted. After I paid the cash up front, the dancer went on to tell me that the money exchanged was recorded and not to try anything beyond what we discussed. It was a fun time, but I am still trying to wrap my head around that comment. I was told that Cab II got their hands slapped for not following the state COVID mandates, so they did a 180 including no touching. Given a recent review, I decided to make a stop this last Thursday shortly after they opened at 2PM.
There is plenty of parking behind their building and on this day, only a beer truck and a couple of cars in the lot. I sat in my truck and took care of a couple things on my phone and watched the cars start pulling in. All dancers. There are signs all around the lot that say “No Marijuana.” I am not sure if the owner knows that it is legal now, but not my thing so I don’t care. You walk down a few steps to enter and there is a bouncer immediately at the door. On this day/hour, no Id check, no cover, no pat down, no mask and even no conversation. This bouncer just looks at you with a look that says, “What the hell are you doing here.” I liked the previous guy who would carry a conversation and appreciates you walking through the door. I guess a young tough bouncer has to look the part. If you need to use the restroom, now is the time since they are in this lower section by the door. You walk back up to enter the main floor with the stage right in front of you and bar in back.
In my opinion this is the best laid out strip club club in town, with three levels of “stadium” style seating. Not a bad seat in the house if you want to watch nude girls on the large main stage. There are plenty of seats around the rack (stage) and the height is perfect for viewing. No rail to speak of or to look over. The dancers can easily come over the low round bar perimeter and jump in your lap if they want. They have a dj that you can actually hear the names of the dancers. They also have a cage up on the upper level that the dancers will go in to (I have read), but yet to see it used since I am here only during the daytime hours. There are lotto machines up on the third level along with the lap dance booths and champagne room. They have a decent size patio with a VIP room out there as well (from what I have read).
