Low cost, high mileage dances from attractive dancers in acceptable if mediocre venue
Vivide was an easy ten-minute drive from my downtown hotel. The parking lot was large, with plenty of open spaces when I arrived about 2:30pm on a Wednesday. There was no fee for parking, cover was $10, pat down was just a gesture. Inside I went through the empty upstairs area and down to the main floor.
The club was dimmer than I remembered from my previous visit (August, I think). It's one big room with a bar on one of the long walls. The TVs on that wall were on, but not those on the other side. The bar has some stools. The rest of the room is made up of rectangular bench/couch seating areas with plastic covered furniture and small tables. As others have noted, the seating isn't great. The plastic (while I imagine easier to clean) isn't terribly comfortable and the big benches make everything a somewhat shared experience.
A bottle of water was $5. A dancer drink (Crown and pineapple juice, I think) was $10.
