I often wonder how the clubs in Toledo have been since they've opened back up, but they so rarely get reviewed here these days that I took it upon myself to run down south to find out.

I got to Hush at 4:00 PM on the nose and went in. The bar is situated in a little strip mall on Reynolds, and there's no valet or anything. It doesn't seem like a terribly shady area, but I did hope that there were cameras pointed at the lot. There was no cover, and no one watching the door. The layout of the club is pretty simple: the bar is on your right as you walk in, the stage is on the left. There's a DJ booth to the immediate left of the door. The bathrooms are past the stage and to the left, and further left is the private dance area. There are no bathroom attendant. Hush isn't a pit, but it's not that classy a place.

I picked a spot at the bar near the door and ordered a beer, which I was told was $2 until 9:00 PM. The bartender was an attractive, friendly brunette woman named Amber, who was kind enough to have her respectable rack on display. The stage was empty and the annoying music wasn't overbearingly loud. A glance around the club showed me four patrons, all at the bar. There were two dancers; one AA woman with a reasonably good body sitting in a folding chair below the DJ booth, and a very large blonde dancer talking with a patron at the bar. I did not get any names, because I could not understand the DJ when the two women climbed up on stage and began their sets.
