I visited a couple of clubs before ending up and having a little fun at Scarlet. Before I get in to that review, I have been having a few messages about Tommy’s Too. I heard from a trusted source that Tommy’s is going to reopen soon as Foster Strip. It will be interesting to see if it goes back as a strip club with liquor instead of the lingerie/modeling studio juice bar. If that happens, I suspect that the old Tommy’s will not be the same with the OLCC police making random visits. We will see. That same source told me that around half of the Tommy’s dancers are now at a new club, 82nd Strip, 7737 SE 82nd Ave. I need to make a stop and check it out.

Scarlet lounge was my third club stop on this Saturday morning/afternoon. With the first two, Shimmers and The Venue, having nothing of interest to write about. I pulled in to Scarlet’s parking lot around 12:30 PM today. I am not a huge fan of this club any more with the rack change, but thought I would check it out and glad I did. The outside of this club is nothing to brag about, but there is easy parking with this business sharing a large lot with another business across the way. They do have a fairly nice covered patio and were actually doing dances out there when the restaurants/bars were not permitted to have customers in the building because of COVID.

I didn’t put a mask on and there was no cover, no bouncer and no ID check on this Saturday afternoon. There were three dancers listed on the board and four customers sitting either at the bar or at the few tables/chairs scattered around this small club. They have lotto machines in the far right back of the building and a music box for the dancers to feed dollars to select their dance music. Three individual lap dance booths with curtains on the doors and small leather couches for the dances. As I have mentioned several times, this club now has the worst rack/stage in Portland because the railing is below my knees. There is a sign to the dancers telling them not to step over the rail. I guess they don’t want the dancers coming over and sitting on the patrons laps. There were only around six padded restaurant style chairs around the rack. I was the only customer at the rack during my time.
