first of many.

Took my monthly stroll down Michigan avenue a few Mondays back. Hoping to meet up with my cf and maybe even make a new friend after if I had time. Pulled into flight club and headed inside to not the normal fc lineup. Had the C lineup going this day. Couple familiar faces, but at least 4 or 5 bigger girls. One dancer sat with me and informed me that my cf wasn’t coming in today. Wasn’t my type, so avoided her attempts to get me to go up stairs with her. Finished my drink and left.

Next stop Criket to try again. Walked in to new door guy who informed me I had to check my coat. Which never had to before for day shift. Opted to go back out and put it in my car. Shoulda just left then but went back in and sat down. Ordered a beer and surveyed the scene. The usual day time attendees seemed like. Mercedes, Capri, couple other AA. 2 white girls that I saw. All either sitting with what seemed to be regulars or at the bar by themselves eating. Only girl I was interested in was eating lunch with a regular. Wasn’t going to stick around and try to wait it out. Left after half a beer.

2 strikes at this point. Now it was either try my luck at BTs when my last attempt wasn’t so fruitful, or try out the Landing Strip for the first time. I opted for a dip into the unknown and headed towards the LS.
