Deader than dead

In town on business and figured I'd stop by on a late Tuesday afternoon. Knew it was gonna be slow, but not this slow. Walked in and noticed all customers (maybe a total of 10) were planted at the main bar, which is adjacent to the stage. Not a dancer in sight. There were two ladies , in street clothes hanging out with a couple of dudes pounding shots. Given it was around 4 , I figured maybe a shift change or possibly nothing going on until happy hour , so hung out and had a beer or two.

30 minutes, a beer and a shot later and still no sign of life. I assessed the two women hanging out drinking could have been dancers but weren't interested in anything but getting shitfaced. Even if they were dancers, they were nothing much to look at, so I was just as happy to let them keep their clothes on. What shocked me were the zombie like guys paying SC prices and sticking around. Possibly this was the only bar in town, but I had enough .
