Handy Dandy
The reason I went to this place the first time was because there is no cover charge, and if I understand it correctly there never has been a cover charge - like ever. The first thing that happens when you go through the double doors is a bouncer (a friendly one) will wand you, and If you pass that test then you will have the privilege of showing them your state issued ID. One good thing about the entry process is that you have a clear view of the stage. Actually, I'm pretty sure that every strip club in Denver requires you to show your ID, and I am assuming most have metal detectors - although I don’t remember walking through them at every club.
The place is family owned and the bartender is like the daughter (or something) to the owner. She is super friendly and pours a great drink. $8 for a jack and coke. The head bouncer has been there forever (friend of the family, I assume) and looks like dog the bounty hunter, if dog the bounty hunter was 6’8 and jacked. He's a very friendly and scary looking dude.
The place is worn and could use some renovation - especially the bathroom. But, everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable.
