Not much going on this Sunday

I was passing thru Denver on a Sunday evening and decided to drop in on a couple clubs to the north. I had previously visited Diamonds and Shorgun Willie’s but this was my first time at Platinum 84. I did check the website for specials. No Happy Hour on Sunday but I did take advantage of the “free VIP entry” by submitting a throwaway email which quickly got me a QR code. Found a parking spot just 10 feet up the road and avoided any parking fee. So after quick ID check and gentle part down I’m inside with zero $ spent. Not a bad start.

Inside I find a medium to large club all on one floor. Bar is by the entrance with a smaller stage in front of it. Further down the is a long stage with two poles and lots of low tables around. At the far end of the room is the restroom (small, reasonably clean, and no attendant). Across from the bar is the lap dance area behind a wall of glass bricks.

I buy a drink at the bar ($9 for well whiskey) and hang out I a stool for a bit to take in the scene. Most of the dancers are entertaining regulars among the low tables. One girl is up on the small stage. Later, as the girls rotate, there was a second girl dancing at the near end of the long stage. Some dancers made good use of the poles. If PL’s started tipping then tops came off but the bottoms must stay on as this place serves alcohol.
