Cool club, need a second visit to assess more fully

First time visitor to Ocean's on a recent Wednesday. One prior visit the place was closed. Initially I arrived around 3 pm and it was closed. So I ventured over to Polekatz in Bridgeview for a couple of hours. Left there and got a massage which was a nice break between clubs. The massage place didn't do a good job of wiping off the oil which prompted a return to my hotel for a shower before hitting Ocean's. I arrived at Ocean's around 8 pm. Not too many cars in the parking lot - maybe 12 which is not many for a very large club. This club is in the SW suburbs of Chicago and likely a 30-45 minute cab/uber/rental car ride for those coming from downtown but only 10 minute drive from Midway airport.

The front desk guys checked my ID and frisked me. No cover charge was collected on this visit probably since it was so early and so few customers in the place. The place is very large. Circular in shape, perhaps 300 feet from side to side and just guessing that the ceilings are 40 feet high. As others have mentioned the main stage is surrounded by a large moat that is about 8-10 feet wide which is unlike anything I've seen in a club before. One of the nicest clubs I've been in if not the nicest. The lighting was brighter than I generally see - perhaps since it was early in the night when I arrived.

I ordered a domestic beer which was $7. The men's room was large and clean - floors still damp from being mopped. There is a semi-indoor, enclosed connected smoking area for those that care.
