Where is Charly?

I was in the Sacramento area. I wanted to see how things were at my previous favorite, Deja Vu. I visited this club when it reopened after the pandemic but my previous visit was nowhere near what it used to be previously. I had a lot of fun at this club starting 2017 until the pandemic hit. So, those vibes drew me back to take a quick peek at the club to see if things have improved.

I visited on Black Friday day. Even though the poster on their website said half off of admission, the guy at the front desk did not honor it. I was using the coupon and so I was expecting the answer that coupon cannot be combined with this deal. However, I was told that the black Friday prices applied only to the dances and not for admission. No sweat, I had the coupon and so got in with a $17 cover charge.

Dance prices have significantly changed after the pandemic. The $100, one hour VIP dance has now become $180. Previously, I used to pay $40-$50 tip on top of the $100, which was pretty steep in itself. Now, the prices have gotten steeper at $180.
