Dinner and Dancing
After a nice dinner out with my wife we decided to check out HQ. We pulled around back. Parking lot is well lite. I didn't see any sketchy characters lurking around outside. Walked up the ADA ramp and in through the back door. As you walk into the club, the bouncer scans your ID and checks you with a wand. The lady behind the counter charged us $40 cover charge.
The main bar area has an elevated stage behind it. There's a second bar area in the corner and a large 2 pole stage in the center of the room. They opened both of these areas around 11:30. The stage dance set up is odd. Difficult to tip the dancer's directly when they are dancing behind the bar. Unless you go to stage right. The center stage is 3 steps up from the floor with railing around it. Too much space between the railing and the stage for consistent action. The walls are lined with couches and some high top tables throughout the club. The lap dance area is up a few steps along the back wall. It has partitioned couches with beaded curtains separating it from the main floor. There is also a VIP room area. The club looked clean bathrooms were decent. The DJ sounded like every strip club DJ. Music level was good. You could have a conversation and even overhear the dancer sales pitching the guy next to you. Lighting was standard for a strip club.
When we arrived most of the dancers were sitting at the bar. Probably 10 + at 9:30. More arrived as the night unfolded. By 12:30 Probably 20 + dancers. They have a diverse lineup of girls, something for eveyone. Very diverse ethnicities. Dancers looks department some > 7, most 7 to < 7. Some enhanced most were natural. Some skinny, some thick. Going to the club as a couple has its pro and cons. Most dancers won't approach. The ones that did were in no rush to sell us dances. They seemed interested in connecting first and didn't steer the conversation into a sale every other sentence.
