Not my kind of place.
Located in a mini mall behind a Carl's Jr, its one of the few bikini and drinks places to go to in LA, and one that I'd never been to. Unfortunately, IMO its one of the worst.
Got patted down for weapons and asked for proof of vaccination, by surprisingly congenial bruisers at the door. Walk in around a corner into the main space- with bar on the left, a small stage on the right and a pool table beyond. There was a long bench along the wall for lappers maybe? Didn't see anyone get one. A door in the back was open to an outdoor tented area with a few folding chairs strung about- probably the remnants of LA's no drinking indoors rule last year. Domestic beer was $5. The interior is renovated and clean with a full service bar and the sound system is pretty good.
So what's my issue with the place? The dancers are not the best here and the music was nonstop Mexican Cumbia, Norteno- all that stuff. Don't get me wrong, I can chill over a song or two, but not for over an hour straight. Girls were mostly Latinas with a couple of Asians and one Black. At least half were very thick, on verge of obese. Their bikini's looked very concealing too, standard beach wear almost and no chance of oops flashes with double layered bottoms. None had sexy moves IMO. Looking around I gathered I was surrounded by dudes who had busted their asses all week long in menial labor jobs to make a few bucks to spend in here. Not sure what anyone was trying to accomplish here, but it seemed like almost every dancer was in long convos with guys at the bar or around the pool table. The smattering of chairs at the stage were empty, with most holding back on tips while watching from the stools at the bar. The only tips would come from the guy who was talking up the dancer before she went up. All in all, a boring visit at a place that I just didn't jive with.
